Questions about the guide, a correction, or a listing request — not a table reservation.

This site does not hold tables and does not broker a Saturday night. Phone the room for a booking. If you do not know which room, open a city hub, use the how-to pages to decide the job, then call a venue yourself.

Use the form on this page for work that belongs to the guide, not to a reservations book.

What to send

Use the form for:

  • a correction to a precinct, produce note or how-to
  • a question about how the guide works
  • a request to list a room you run
  • a recommendation of a room you ate in, as a tip, not as paid placement

Give a city if you have one. Name the street or precinct if the note is geographic. If you are correcting a method — yum cha, banquet sequence, a recipe step — say which page and what is wrong. Short and specific is more useful than a general rave or complaint.

Do not send card details, identification documents, or a guest list you want us to seat. We cannot seat it.

What happens to a message

The form posts to the editorial inbox. We read for corrections and for patterns in tips: a precinct that has shifted, a produce note that is thin, a how-to that confused someone. We do not publish the messages. We do not turn them into scores.

We may never write a room’s name. A useful tip often becomes a sharper sentence about a street, a climate, or a question to ask the floor.

If you asked a question about the guide itself — how to use a hub, whether we book tables, how recipes relate to city notes — we will answer when we can. We will not recommend a “best” room in a city. That is not what this site does.

If the form fails

Try once more. If it still fails, use the editorial address associated with this domain — the same inbox the form uses. Do not post private details in a public comment field on another site and hope we see them.

We do not run a phone booking line. A message that only says “table for six on Saturday” will not become a reservation.

Before you write

If you need a table, stop and open the city you will eat in. If you need to understand yum cha, open the food guide. If you need a celebration sequence, open the banquet guide. If a page is factually wrong, stay here and tell us which paragraph.

Listing and recommend have their own pages because the useful details differ. Operators should send city, precinct, regional focus and a public way to verify the room. Diners should send city, precinct, what they ordered, and any allergen method that taught them something. Skip awards we cannot see. Skip prices. Skip owner gossip.

The fields below are name, email, city, topic and message. That is enough.

If you are writing from a kitchen, say so and use the listing page if the note is really a listing. If you are writing as a diner, stay on recommend when the note is a tip. This page is the inbox for everything else: a wrong street, a confusing method, a question about what the guide will and will not do. We will not book the table. We will read the correction.

What people ask first

Direct answers first. Expand only if you want the longer note.

How do I enquire about a booking?

Contact the restaurant directly. This site is not a reservations desk and cannot hold a table. Use the form below only if your question is about the guide itself.

Prefer a city hub first?

If you need a table, open the city page and call the room yourself.
